Richard Ottomeyer, D.C. is the founder of Hickory Health Clinic in Forest Lake, Minnesota. As a chiropractic orthopedist and licensed acupuncturist, he has been treating pain-related conditions since 1981.
He is passionate about developing integrated care models that promote optimal patient-centered outcomes for people experiencing the spectrum of pain; from acute to chronic. He is an active member of the chiropractic professional community and was honored with the peer-awarded status of “Chiropractor or the Year” in 1997. With nearly 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ottomeyer has developed an extensive network of provider specialists and has pioneered a transition from individual specialty care into transdisciplinary team-based care.
Dr. Ottomeyer is also passionate about community service and participates in many local endeavors which promote safety for youth and adolescents. His decades of community service include Forest Lake Safety Camp, Lakes Center for Youth and Families, Community Scholarship Foundation, and Rotary International - Forest Lake Chapter.
In his free-time, Dr. Ottomeyer enjoys playing drums and guitar with his local band. He is married and has two children.
